My Review

Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge is a turn-based strategy that puts you command of a squad of specialists for hire in the genre’s biggest game-world yet: the African country Diamond Coast. Diamond Coast is a playground for the cruel and corrupt, each with their own agenda. Choose your friends wisely and buy an army of ruthless mercenaries to unleash mayhem on your foes. Choose “jobs” from different factions and complete them for cash to upgrade your weapons and hire more elite soldiers of fortune.

Sounds good. Nice to see some new JA-type action finally. Definately should satisfy while waiting for the perenially delayed JA3.

Undocumented feature: Holding middle button/wheel and RMB will tilt and rotate.

Thanks for the review Jim, I'm surprised that the tilt/rotate was undocumented, our bad on that if so. I always use that to adjust the view to the angle I want. The scrolling is also smooth for me, what kind of system did you review on spec-wise? I'm glad you enjoyed it and I agree that it's a great heir to the Jagged Alliance dynasty.

Tilt and rotate works now that I know it's there. I searched the manual and FAQ several times - nada..

Here's the only view controls mentioned in the manual:

«Up Arrow». .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . . . . . . .Camera Up
«Down Arrow”. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . . . . . . .Camera Down
«Left Arrow». .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . . . . . . .Camera Left
«Right Arrow». .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . . . . . . .Camera Right
«SPACE». .. .. . . . . . . .. . ... . ... . ... . ... . ... . ... . ... . .. . . . . . . .Camera Focused On Nearest Visible Enemy

The manual tries to be too chatty; better if it had stuck to the old bare bones controls, mechanics, game play style. A bit boring but more useful in the end - like my reviews.
