Lowest score and still win...

Post by Viking67 »

What is the lowest score you have had and still won?

As the Union I typically get into the 800's before turning the tide in '63 and winning. In my current game I am down to 815 and the CSA AI is at 1200. Do you think this one is still winnable?

I think that depends on the ratio of infantry US vs. CS. If you have at least 3 to 2 -- yes, I think you can still win. If not, well than your low PP position has done its evil work. You will run out of steam and stall out. It IS possible to pick up a lot of points quickly. I know I've done something close to 100 points in one turn, between capturing multiple major cities plus stategic victories coming all at once.
