operational/strategic interface

I just bought the game (having already owned the original):What is up wth the Strat map?It is the size if a postage stamp. the original game allowwd you to see the whole situation.

You'll have to play the Classic Version thats included with WAR.

No, if he's talking about how in the original CC4 you didn't scroll around the campaign map, but in this version of the original CC4 that is included with WAR you do.... I could be wrong though, I haven't played the original CC4 ini ages because I broke my disc. I'm assuming this new 'original' version of CC4 is put into the CC5 setup? I could be wrong.

The Classic or Original version of CCIV is included with the purchase of WAR.
It still loads and runs like CCV,the strat map only requires a little scrolling.
And there is a download to lock the BG's.

A small correction to what Platoon_Michael said. The download to lock BG unit selection is for standard WAR, the classic or original locks your units like CC4 did by default.
