Damaged ships withdraw.

Post by marioa »

How to get damaged ships to withdraw to Pearl Harbor or Tokio?
I have damaged ships in Port Moresby and Townsville and the button to withdraw to Pearl Harbor is disabled.-
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

You can only withdraw ships from Noumea.

Likewise, Japanese ships can only withdraw to Tokyo via Truk.

Any large ship CA+ with 50+ system damage you are better off sending it back, especially the Japanese who have a slower repair rates and also can't do system upgrades at Truk (unlike the US, who can at Noumea if you've got time to spare)

There are no upgrades available at Noumea. they must be sent back to PH for upgrades.

Well I'm sure it's happened to my ships whilst in port at Noumea, admittedly not often though. Anyone else spot this?

Probably even less. I send ships back with 35% System damage mostly. The ship reinforcements released are determined by ships in theatre.

I think a size 9 port will repair just 1-3% system damage a week. It seems wiser just to send these ships back, have more ships released fom home country.

Mind you, small ships can get repaired faster than big ones. I've had a 'S' class sub with 50+ damage turned round in about 6 weeks @ Noumea
