MMCIII Client?

Post by sabre1 »

In the start up screen the MMCIII Client button, Close Combat.Org, and the CSO downloads is not operational. Is this suppose to be this way, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for help or information.

Also From the support QandA

Q. my CSO Downloads in the command centre button doesn't work

A.That means you didn't do a full install... easily missed.

Run CloseCombatCC.exe From your support folder

C:\Program Files\Close Combat\Close Combat III\Support\CloseCombatCC.exe

Technical issues have meant a new support site has been set up

So I reinstalled off the CD, and I got the MMCIII Client to run, but now I can't find the Modswap uitility anywhere.  What's up with that? Thanks.

One more question. Why does this Matrix game install in the program files area instead of under the Matrix Games folder where all the other Matrix games I have install?

The problem doesn't have something to do with Netframe work not being installed does it?  On my system I tried to install that and I received the error message saying that it can't be installed on a Vista 64 machine.  Or some such nonesense.

Anyway thanks for the help.  I can't find the modswap utility application anywhere on my system.  It's obviously hiding from me.[:)]

Sheeesh,  I had to run a sperate program called close combat command center.  I'm sure that was documented someplace right?  The modswap utility did not install when I installed the game.

I think I have everything up and running, mind you I think I do. [;)]

I don't know Andrew, but I do know that I just allowed the CD to do it's thing and it did not install the combat command center program for whatever reason.  I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 8GB Ram.  Thanks for responding.
