Questions About British Para Battalion ToE

Post by brucha »

I have been trying to determine what would be the most accurate depiction of a late 1942 British parachute battalion for a long campaign.

In general, under troop choices for your unit core, a battalion would consist of 3 para co's, each with a single attached inf at rifle team, and a seperate attached para section with a pair of LMG teams. Each para section also has imbedded 2 inch mortars used as direct fire weapons.

Would there be any other units to include to represent a "typical" para battalion beyond this?
