how can i play starshatter on windows vista insteadof xp

I play it on Vista64. Install and run as administrator by right clicking the install and play file and select administrator, should work. Make sure you installed DX9 on Vista too as it may need a certain DX9 file that is missing from DX in Vista. JUst download and run dxwebsetup.exe that you can get at Microsoft and that will update DX for you. Vista has comaptibility options too, like XP compatibility, Win2000 etc. that you get to by right clicking the game shortcut or exe file. You can select for a game to permanently run as administrator from there too. I set all my games to run as administrator on Vista because you can't alwasy tell which need that setting abd which don't. I run all game installers on Vista that way for the same reason too. Sure, that makes the games a potential securty risk but that is a rarity with games and my AV or UAC would alert me to that if they were. Rootkits can't even run on Vista without alerting UAC.
