Spain repulse a blockading fleet !

GB blockade Cadix (Spanish navy inside)
Same turn :English army besieged spain garnison (1 factor). No breach.
During Spain land turn : The garison was destroy (forage).

Next turn : english army put 1 factor as garison in the town.

Then, at the end of the turn :
All english fleets gone in Gibraltar port !!!
And Spain navy gone in Morocco port (Spanish conquest) !!!

If the won the naval battle, it's not a bug.

Breakout battles are fought by the computer secretly. Review event log to see if action recorded. i was long critic of this till Marshall set me on the straight & narrow.

Why doesn't the game present the combat report ????

I imagine this is to keep a pbem game from getting clogged with a naval battle that takes place in a land phase. Instead the game justs runs it automatically.

It would be nice to have a pop-up notification, though, similar to what you get if there's a DoW or a new alliance.

Yea, I agree here. The battle should be recorded but by the time you look for the text, it is usually nested down a bit in the log.
