Help Finding Scouting/AAR

Post by DaveDennis »

With the Matrix holiday sale, I purchased JTCS and am trying to get back into the game. In fact, I already owned all the original Talonsoft versions, but purchased the new ones to show support for continued development and improvements.

Anyway, from my past days playing it, I recalled an excellent Scouting/Reconnaissance AAR that was set in the East Front, and involved showing a battle with a German armored car that demonstrated how to best employ scouts. There were a number of screenshots in it to highlight the discussion. I also recall the AAR having the armored car do a hail-mary run in the rear of the Russian force and ended up nailing a HQ unit.

For the life of me, I can't find the AAR anywhere on the web. Does anyone recall this particular AAR? It's almost like a "visual version" of Glenn Saunder's excellent article about scouting. Does anyone else recall the AAR and have a copy/link to it?
