Vista crashes

I'm getting random crashes in Vista. Random times that is... I've played with no problems for hours and I've had the crash as soon as 15 minutes into the game. Everytime it crashes, I get the same error "game.exe has stopped working". Anyone else seeing that or have any ideas for fixes? DXDiag attached.

I have been having the same problem ever since I got the game. Most often it seems to happen just as I am entering a new battle map, but sometimes it occurs in battle as well. I get the exact same error message.

I have reinstalled the game, have the latest patch and I have zero mods installed. I also rebooted after every crash, but it makes no difference. I control almost the whole campaign map now, and it's started crashing every time I try to launch a battle, regardless of the location I choose. VERY frsutrating as I really wanted to complete the campaign.

Well, I'm moving on to Steel Fury this week. Hopefully that will be stable.

I've had two crashes myself on WinXP sp3. Both times it was when trying to save the game in battle mode. Never had it crash when actually entering a battle map, though.

I've had 5-6 crashes in 24 hours.  There's one map (Coastal City) that I just can't enter anymore (been there in previous games) and several others crash out on me but then let me in if I keep re-starting the game.  The game also crashes on start-up sometimes, after I click 'Load' to open my saved campaign.
 
Not much interest being shown by Matrix or the devs in relation to these posts I have to say...

I'd have to agree with that statement.  I was hoping for some response from them...  at least a "we're looking at this".

We are working on an update to address as many crashes as possible. The developers are on vacation until next week but we have been logging your problems and will forward them to the appropriate people.
