Bombers TOO HIGH?!!

Post by John 3rd »

OK. Mr. Roper hit Gumma with B-29 at 33,600 feet (I assume their max altitude) and my Tony's came up with enemy bombers "too high." I take it that this means I need to move Tojos into this hex to fight at that altitude?

What else has the ability to get that high?

Nope, it means your Tojos can never get high enough to engage them.

All of your fighters, night fighters, and fighter bombers except:
  • A5M4 Claude
  • A6M2 Zero
  • J1N1-S Irving
  • Ki-45 KAIc Nick
  • Ki-61 KAIc Tony
  • Ki-102a Randy
I have been inputting my orders for the campaign game first turn since July 4, 2009. I'm getting close. In another month or two, I might be able to run the turn!

Thanks.  I have been relying on Tony for my homeland defense and need to bring more Tojo in now.

I hadn't realized that George could do that too.  VERY good!

Was too frustrated and lazy to load Tracker after watching that turn come in.

Don't bombers lose accuracy the higher they go? Seems counter-productive to bomb from max altitude, especially given the durability of the allied 4Es.

You are starting to sound like the teenagers I deal with, trying to blame others for your behaviors. I wish Damian was not so nice and did not post the screenshot for ya. You have Tracker now, no more excuses are allowed.

Why would you need to load "tracker"? 3rd icon on the left "view aircraft, troop, and vehicle database" - hit Japanese aircraft and there is a column with max altitudes.

Poor Mikey....

You should know to NOT bring teenagers up with me Sir.  Man--you ARE a trained therapist!
