Default doctrine

In the Axis air doctrines list I can choose: Bounce bomber, Direct bomer, Bounce fighter, Direct Fighter and also......"Default"
What is default and why would I want to use it?

I notice it seems only to apply to Non-German units (ie Romanians, Italians, Hungarians, etc) although I think it is a possible option for ALL units (not sure on this and too lazy to check right now).

well, to be honest, you can't pick default, you can start with it, but can not pick it

I am not really sure how to explain default, maybe Harley will see the question and reply on that part
