Some squadrons wont scramble

I have a repeated problem with getting some squadrons to scramble. I will be faced with a 12 raide 500+ and I will authorize a scramble but the game will tell me no aircraft is available. The problem is there are fighters sitting on the ground at 2min and 5min readiness that I cant get up in the air.

WHY?

Also I have a problem with late takeoff. I will set no patrols, have auto scramble off I will authorize a good squadron to intercept (5min or 2min in good position) and the route tells me they will not take off for 25 minutes.

Any help would be appreciated, I am very new at this but very exciting game.

Hi Sean, welcome to BOBII.

Sorry , I am just a coder for BOBII (mostly BOBII AI and other applications). I do not know the Campaign well enough to answer you questions.

I recommend you join and post on the A2A forum and let the campaign guys help you with your comments and questions (this is a very good long term investment for you if you are enjoying BOBII and I just bet you will love the very mature and helpful BOBII community.
