Music and/or sound

Post by Jonny_B »

When this war game was first release many birthdays ago, for me, I seem to remember that there was a sound track for this game.
Of course that was under the DOS environment.
Would be nice to have battle sounds to support the game, give it some color.

If anyone knows or has an educated guest please reply,
Thanks.

As far as I can remember, there has been no sound in any of my PacWar matches - and I started with PacWar v1.2 on DOS. [/align]

There was sound, but it was only during the opening splash panel. (A recording of the radio announcement of the attack on Pearl Harbor.) There was no background music or battle sounds.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

Thanks LargeSlowTarket and Capt. Harlock,

Yes, I remember now, been a long, long time and I am still playing this game.
The opening credits and that’s all for sound. Maybe they sould release the code so sound could be added, I assume it was written in pascal or old C.

I play this game when I just want too have fun, however I completely enjoy playing Witp and have since the game was first release.
(Waiting for the witp update, whenever, quality takes time, just not my patience)
