Scenario Won't Load

Post by BK6583 »

Posted this on the the tactics scenario site (name escapes me) under scenario comments but I thought I'd try here too. Dowloaded the Barbarossa 1941-1945 .40 scenario. Instructions say to put it in the scenarios folder if it's a .pt2 file, which it is. When I try to load it I get the following message:

Did not find c:\matrix games\advanced tactics\bin\graphics/barbarossa\landscape\plain.png

Per above it's a .pt2 file so I put it in the scenarios dir - in fact I've tried just about everywhere and get the same message.

What am I doing wrong?

The message means that the graphic files for this scenario are missing.

The file you download is a .zip file not a .pt2 file.

You need to put the .pt2 file in the scenario folder, which you seem to have done.

But you also need to put all the graphic files in the right spot. If you unzip all the files with the "use folders" options this will make a folder called "barbarossa" in your graphics folder that will have the graphics that are missing.

Hope that helps.
