Aircraft Factory bug?

Post by greycat »

In my PBEM game I have a factory in Gumma producing 62 x A6M2 Zeros that I wanted to convert to A6M3. However, when I clicked on the 'convert' link, a new factory appeared producing 230(damaged)xA6M3[X(]! The original factory is still turning out A6M2. Is this meant to happen?

Does it look like the picture below? If so, I'm guessing that you didn't click on the factory you wanted to change before picking your new model, you just changed the first model on the board, which in stock (the screenshots) is that big 320 Frank-rd factory, which as you see converts to a broken 236 factory of whatever you choose (in this case the A6M3.) Make sure you click on the factory you want to convert first (it'll turn green), then pick your new model. Note that whatever you choose to convert to will downsize the new line from it's current numbers, and will start with everything in need of repair - this is how the game is supposed to work, and you'll use 1000 supply per turn to fix one factory per turn for each line you have repairing. Slow and expensive for the bigger factories. Hope this helped - Alex.

D'oh!That's what appears to have happened. This going to cost a lot of supplies to fix; I'm going to have the factory manager (me) drafted into the army and posted to the Aleutians! Many thanks for the response.
