Diffrence between Matrix/slith

Could someone please tell me what the diffrence between the slitherine version and the matrix one is(are)?

From what I understand, as they are deployed differently, and the patches are applied differently, it almost makes it two separate games. In short, there is different programming involved with each version.

No gameplay difference whatsoever between Slitherine and Matrix version. They just use different installers.
