Problems with ModSwap

Post by Richard III »

I have the maps in the maps folder and the mods in the plug-in folder. I can launch the Mod, select the forces and when I hit " next" I get a win. error message and crashs back to the COI Start screen..also when I restart there is no mod installed [X(].This happens with all mods. Any help appreciated. I`m running WIN XP with service pack 2 . 2 gigs of RAM and a 128 Meg Vid Card

OK. I removed the Game and re-installed. The default COI plays fine.

I installed the WF Mod and got an error message " CC Error. An attempt was made to set the coopertive level when it was already set to exclusive" however when I tried again the mod played. Now I can`t removed it in Mod Swap to load another mod...?? When I try and play I get the COI screen .

It looks like  you had 2 instances of modswap open at once.

be careful not to do it!!!

Close modswap after installing or uninstalling a mod.

Navigate to

D:\Program Files\Close Combat\Close Combat III\instmods.ini

This is what it should look like with no mods installed

[InstalledMods]
[ExclusiveFiles]

If no mods are installed edit it to look like that.

Yes that must have been it ! I re-installed the Game and the GD Mod installs & uninstalls fine now. Thanks very much for the fast support on a weekend .[:)]
