I had hope....SIGH

John Tiller's Battleground Series is a Hall of Fame lineup of games covering the Civil War and Napoleonic Wars. We've compiled these classic games into two new affordable collections, incorporating updated versions of these legendary titles. Incredible historical gameplay and great value!

I had hope....SIGH

Post by madgamer2 »

I was hoping that the reissue of this clasic series would have included a little improvement of AI. I am playing the South and it is not quite 1:00 PM first day and I already have a Major victory, and many units are late in arriving.
Given the week AI is it better to plasy the variable entry game than the historical entry game in regards to AI performance?

I always derived some satisfaction out of completely wiping out the opposing side in Gettysburg (either side). If I wanted a challenge, I played both sides. I've been playing both sides in game simulations for decades now, computers haven't changed that a bit LOL
Signature? Maybe someday over the rainbow.

Somehow I just can't get the satisfaction of playing both sides so I up the meter for the AI and wipe them out. Its just that its early afternoon first day 1/3 of the troops are missing and I already have a major victory?.....It could be better

I have been able to make a challenge out of things by adding a handi-cap to my side.  Imagine that a corps had lost the way... (march it to a corner of the map and leave it there.)
