2nd PA div in San Francisco

Post by veldek01 »

Hi all,

I'm playing a game and I have they allied. It is Jan 22 1942 and I have only Manila left in the Philippine. I receive as reinforcement in San Francisco the 2nd PA div. attaches to the USAFFE is it normal? Since it is USAFFE I cannot move it and it cost 742 point to change? What do I do with this unit?

It normally arrives in Bataan, unless Bataan has fallen. If you wish to use it, you will have to spend the points.

You want to leave it in San Francisco for awhile.  Then when you have plenty of Political Points you can move it to Pearl or somewhere else it can be used as a a garrison force.  Then they'll be ready to help MacArthur return to the PI in '44.

When the Philippine fall, will the USAFFE still exist? If not will that division change command?

You're going to have to change the unit to an unrestricted command yourself (and spend the points) whenever you're ready to use it/move it.

You lucky guy........that is another 300AV div once she is built up to full strength. Just send her in with 1-2 invasion forces and she will be as good as any other div you have. They just need some combat experience.
