Airborne troops

Post by HerzKaraya »

Hi,

could anyone tell me how to set up a LCU to be airborne/para so it can be airdropped on any hex?
Can´t find it in the editor nor looking at other databases.
Thank you!

In WITP Editor X use 13 in the Symbol area....upper right.

IIRC this can not be done in the stock editor.
Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.

IIRC 12 is for cavalry, not sure if this has any in game effect but if you read the stock v 6.0 editor manual, IIRC it tells more about the symbols & codes not much info though

Actually you CAN do it in the stock editor - if you follow the instructions in the Editor Manual. You must copy another airborne unit - and that copies the field. You also can do it in WITPEdit - as stated above - value 13.

12 does give a cavalry symbol but no function change. 13 gives the unit the ability to be armor.

Thank you guys for the info!
I understand 12 is for Cavalry...symbol only
and 13 is for airborne... symbol and functionality.

Probably will have to buy a pair of glasses......[:D]
