Suggestion for "Slitherine"

The game engine in Spartans would work great in a little covered (which could mean high interest) area: the New World prior to Columbus. Lots of city states, politics, warfare, and empire building. Even in the far north, the Iriqois "league" (the five nations) was carving out an empire. Lots of possibilities here and I don't believe an actual history-based game actually exists in the area (the recent one that does cover it is more fantasy then anything). I could see campaigns in South America, Central America, and North America north of the Rio Grande.
