Print Screen File

Post by Getrix »

Hello I am having a problem locating the file created when I use print screen key in 7.0 SPWAW. I wanted to copy the units data screen showing all the information on a vehicle. I figured that it would create a jpeg or bmp file in the SPWAW directory but I am unable to locate it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Usually the print screen button saves the info to a clipboard buffer not a file. Try this, use the print screen on the unit in question, close SPWAW and then open something like wordpad, word or another document program. Then select paste and see if your info gets pasted to your document. I didn't work too well for me, there are some programs like hypersnap and such that will allow you save screen shots. Here is the link to Hyper Snap DX

If you use the print screen key, it copies the screen to the windows clipboard. If you want a normal graphics dump of the screen use hypersnap.

I have never found an easy way to convert .clp files from the clipboard into any normal graphics format.
thanks, John.

Yeah she knows and ok, I'll take a break. Cut me some slack, I had to take the last 2 weeks off due to military obligations.
