Undo Diplomatic Actions

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Undo Diplomatic Actions

Post by DasTactic »

Is there anyway to undo diplomatic actions in the same turn you make them? Here's the situation. I'm Russia and have just defeated Turkey...

"Kutuzov, in the surrender terms make sure you get Bessarabia and ... Hmmm. Lets see. Do we want Cyprus and Rhodes or would it be best to get money. Wait here. Don't go off to the Sultan just yet. I'll be right back once I look at the large wall map and work out what I want."

A few seconds later...

"Right Kutuzov, we'll take the - ! Kutuzov? Where are you? Kutuzov? Don't tell me he's already left! Oh damn. And of course he happens to have the fastest horse in the Empire we don't have a chance to catch him now."

LOL! Good story, but alas, no, you must take care with your diplomatic choices, as they are not something that can be undone. However, when setting up a treaty, it isn't "final" until you actually click the "OK" button, so of course you can cancel or make changes before that point.

Most undo functions relate to movement and attaching/unattaching of units on the strategic map. Things like diplomacy, offers of surrender, etc, are not undoable (if thats a word).
