Teleporting Japanese BB's

It has been noted in various threads on this forum that Japanese Battleships have a habit of going back to Tokyo.

A bug has been highlighted in that ( as understand it ) the said ships disappear from the game map and are then found at Tokyo on the same or next game turn, as if teleported there, whereas they should spend time traveling there.

It occurs to me that this "happening" may not apply to all of the Japanese Battleships, but rather to a few; or if it applies to all then some may be more likely to go than others. If we were aware of the ( usual ) "few", we could take this into consideration when choosing BB's for Japanese TF's. I may be wrong...

Can the forum posters please advise which Japanese BB's they have witnessed returning to Tokyo, so that "we" may compose a list. ( If you can't readily recall please don't guess, but await further instances. )

I do not recall it, but does this problem also occur with Allied BB's and PH? If so please advise as above re the said Allied BB's.

NB. When anyone comes across this again whilst playing UV, can they please send a pre-bug save etc. to Mr Wood, as this still needs ( I believe ) to be fixed.

I had this happening during bombardment-runs to Noumea, and these were Kongo-Class BBs.

Another, different case of teleporting BBs back to Tokyo was when I captured Shortland, those BBs in Harbour were also teleported back to Tokyo (and repaired from System damage > 90) instead of being scuttled.

I don't know if I have saves for the first 'case of the vanished Battleships'. For the second, I sent saves to Mike.

But if a PM is read and answered after over a year that you sent it, if you don't get any form of feedback for sending saves, you don't feel highly motivated to browse your old and dusty savegames

I want to correct my somewhat negative post above.
 
Mike checked my saves and fixed the the bug with the ships in Shortland not being scuttled, instead being freshly repaired and teleported to Japan.
 
No I DO FEEL MOTIVATED to search saves for the 'case of the vanished bombarder-BBs. Don't know if I have hem, though...
