Game lost Event log (pls move thread to Cog EE!)?

I was playing a Prussia 1803 game, and 1804 starts with big French-Prussian battles.. I fight valiantly and beat several small French and Saxon corps, but Ol'Napy arrives and bash us...My lone Merchantman also fend off a French rival.

Unfortunately, by end of turn the event log is screwed, only subsidies appear, everything else didn't get there ... But I then find the battle reports in the "Chat" tab !
Something got awry, save attached, get a look (it is a zip file with the .sav and the .rep, renamed to txt to get it through posting restrictions [;)]).

This is a known issue.  The reports become garbled when the game is saved in detailed combat.  Loading the game should actually restore the reports properly, but I am working on fixing this.

Ok, great. Not sure of what you imply by "loading should restore", apparently it doesn't in my case (found the reports in "chat" tab *after* reload !).

Just confirm it's a harmless bug - ie no game issue should come afterwards ?
