Ostfront: question to Vic

Vic, is that possible to allow the old Ostfront scenario to be placed in the scenario bank? It´s too big, but, maybe, I could divide the file in three. It´s a pity that an excellent scenario like them seems to be lost forever, and, given it´s size, I cannot give it away by e-mail....

There is an Ostfront by mattybuoy in the Scenario Bank (the approved list ). It shows it approved about 275 days ago?

Is this one you you mean? Does the download not work anymore?

I had problems uploading to the scenario bank directly so have uploaded it (even though my thing is way small) directly to the FTP server.... and then moved it from there to the scenario bank.

I would think you could do this with almost any size scenario.

Maybe the problem with really large items is in downloading.

I've used the ftp server for a few of the larger scenarios folks had trouble with. I also recall playing with this Ostfront (the one on the approved Scenario List) - I recall enjoying it.

I just downloaded the v96 from the scenario bank. Is this all of Ostfront or is there a "work in progress" file somewhere to take Ostfront to the end of the war?

No, Mehring, that is the last version. Captain Cruft gave up the project....

Bump. Did anything ever come out of this, or is the 0.96 the only available version of this?
