Bleeding Money

Post by theonlystd »

Playing as Russia.. Things where going great. Gobbled up most of Poland .. Money situation started off pretty well but its progressively got worse. Hiked taxes, put craploads of units on forage and barely black, the forage thing doesnt really seem to save much money.. I havnt even built any units draft hasnt gone above 1.. I captured 1 arty unit is the only addition to the army that has taken place ..

Wars over and its upkeep/spply expenses are 300 is that normal? Am i doing something wrong?

Just failing?

small amounts of resources put into developing banks really pays dividends in the long run.  You can also place troops into garrison that reduces their supply and upkeep costs.

also, if not at war, you can lower the readyness of your troops

also, make sure you don't have extra Depots lying around, they soak up money
