Experts and stuff

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Why unallocated labor points don't get assigned by playing with advanced economy and enabled province development expert ?

Onto another issue: changed the CoG2Provinces.txt in order to get correct German province names (i.e. Sachsen for Saxonia), but they don't show up when I load the appropriate scenario. Is the map hard coded ? And where diplomat names are stored ? Want to convert poor Hardenburg into a real Hardenberg.

Guess for next Matrix game, covering European/German history, I'm going to apply for beta. [;)]

In my experience, I found the development A.I. to be rather dumb.

Diplomat, Division, General, Ship and City info is found in "COG2Start.txt". Be aware that each scenario has its own file.

The Development Advisor may leave a few percent of labor unallocated simply because these few percentages points aren't enough to raise any area of labor allocation to the next effective level.

The map is hard coded, though you can change the province names as they are used elsewhere (you have to change them in every scenario).  If you are seriously interested in making a German language map mod, it would require a recent copy of Photoshop to edit our original map files; I can put you in touch with our Art Director, if you would like to do this.

Please feel free to submit spelling errors to the support area.  I have changed Hardenberg.
