pattern to combat replay differences

Post by borner »

I am seeing this in at least two current games. My combat replay as the US not only differs (which is to be expected), but is almost always a more positive outcome for Japan. Much of this is minor, planes not flying in the one for Japan, but attacking a convoy in mine. 2 cruisers getting hit instead of just one... ect. It troubles me though that thing do not seem to balance out, but to this point are all in Japan's favor. From the time I started watching for this, it is 6 for 6 in one game, and two for two in the other.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this, or is there something in the settings each players uses that can impact this.

I have seen this a lot. But I wouldn´t say that it always was in favour for the Japanese. The results that differ ususally differ more in favour for the Japanese but not always. Sometimes things do happen in the US replay that are more or less nice for the US that did not really happen. The bad thing about it is that you see the wrong things happen and that all the in between intell you get from the combat replay is worthless for the US while the Japanese has them all.
