Eight powers - hardcoded?

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. I think it's quite a neat idea to have a playable Poland or Bavaria, but it would be even better if this could be done without doing away with Sweden....is 8 powers a hardcoded limit? Can this be increased? It's a little annoying to see someone bribe Sweden into becoming a protectorate....thanks.

Yes, eight powers is the limit, and to change that would involve an absurd amount of coding and graphics work.

Pity. Though given that COG2 is a new game, rather than a patch of COG1, surely an insane amount of coding for a new game costing $50 is justified? Guess its too late now.
