AE on a Mac

Post by aoffen »

Anyone have any idea how AE is likely to go on a Mac with either Fusion or Parallels as the Windows emulator? Just thinking about switching from PC to Mac and don't want to screw my AE future with the decision.

I am running WITP on a Mac with Vmware fusion and it's running well. I think that it will be the same for AE.

Computer compatability between WitP and AE is very similar.  The only increased requirement is memory, but any newer computer will have enough memory anyway.

I was running AE on my iMac using bootcamp....worked like a charm until my harddrive crashed.

About a year or more ago I used Parallels 3.0 as well, but found some sound issues so opted to use bootcamp.
