Slightly OT - Battle histories in photoshop

Post by Akos Gergely »

Guys,

I've just found this site with photoshopped model pictures telling some of our favourite battles. Also nice to see some Witp and CaW art :) in it.

I exited the site as soon as I read: "Her aircraft complement consisted of 12 Mitsubishi A5M "Claude" fighters and 12 B5N1 "Kate" dive bombers."

If they copy and paste from wikipedia with no fact checking, no telling what else is going to be wrong, so why waste my time?

Interesting idea and some nice graphics, but the website and presentation is dreadful.

Slightly o/t but in the pictures of the IJN carriers whats the purpose of the white lines that come from the side of the deck and merge into a single white line at the bow ? Is this to show pilots at altitude what direction the bow (and therefore the stern) is ?
