Loading from CD to Vista

I tried to load my matrixgames CD copy of BiI onto my Vista laptop. When I click the setup.exe it can't read it & it won't progress at all into the installation. Help, please.

Ok, I tried rebooting, double clicking the set-up.exe, opening the setup.exe & running as administrator. The system asks me to allow it & I do but it still won't load. I am running Vista Home Basic SP1 on an Acer Celeron laptop that runs Kharkov: Disaster on the 'Donuts' just fine (it was downloaded from Matrix.) Thanks,

Success!

I managed to install it by using the Microsoft instructions you linked in the members area in the help topics under Vista. I needed to right click the installation program & go to properties then the compatibility tab then run it in a Windows XP compatibility mode & I also checked run as administrator. All is well, so far.

Maybe this will help somebody else.
