Does this Include the Brits?

Based on Atomic Games’ award-winning Close Combat series, Close Combat: The Longest Day brings together the classic top-down tactical gameplay from the original series and plenty of new features, expansions, and improvements! The Longest Day remake comes with a brand new Grand Campaign that covers all the airborne and beach landings, expanded map sizes, new hand-drawn historical maps, illumination during night battles and much more!

Does this Include the Brits?

Post by dudalb_slith »

I am thinking about giving this game a whirl, but since I was very dissapointed with the oriignal CC5 in that it did not include the Briitsh, (Hell, it did not even include the Omaha Sector) before I spend my money I want to be sure that I will get the Brits and Omaha Beach.
I REALLY want a Pegasus bridge scenario.

YES! [8D]

All the beaches and all the airborne landings are in, including Pegasus Bridge, Gold, Juno and Sword.

Sold!
To be honest the first two of the Close Combat remakes did not quite offer enough new features to justify spending $40 bucks, but The longest day does. It is what CC:5 Normandy should have been from the first.

I love the fact Close Combat 5 was called Normandy!! If that isn't misleading, I don't know what is!
