Africa falls after 1 turn

This is both strange and funny considering I watched a programme on Rommel last night on the History Channel...

In a game v. Soviet AI the African front fell after my first turn. I did not remove from OKW any troops, etc etc. Maybe the AI is trying to tell me something...

No, it does happen. Rare, but it does happen. Keep your replacement level on the Italian front high, so it will build quickly to a point where a failure can't happen in '41. If you can afford it, a couple of extra German infantry divisions in the front for a few months would help a great deal towards stopping this outcome.
