I've already finished the second battle (you know, taking the town now or wait for the Stug's) with a DV (second, BTW) and did absolutely not notice that the heavy Arty was there on the western bank of the river, loaded and therefore not available. When I went to the bombardment screen, I saw them inactive and said to myself, well, there not available, let's go with the mortars! Only a click to unload them, and my arty would have been much much stronger.
So, the lesson is: always take a look at what you have before beginning a scenario. Should be obvious, but ..
BTW, even if played for the second time, this is a nice scenario. I like charging all out with my infantry, bypassing bunkers, using recon units far ahead of the main line.. some kind of seek and destroy.
