I'd like to see option 5 or 7. I play exclusively against the AI and by the time 43 rolls around in stock it seems as if the AI has pretty much rolled over and died.

I'd like any of those options, but 1943 seems to be the most popular. I lean towards the Japanese AI, but I can see how it would be interesting to see what the computer does with the Allies.

YH is doing a good job of showing the Jap side, so i would rather see you playing as the Allies (plus i think i may get just a tad confused, after seeing 'AndyMac' as the Allies for all those years vs PzB).
 
As for start date.... try '43. We all know the starting positions for Dec 41. 43 will add some surprises - Plus it avoids another round of riots from the 'thats not historical' first turn at Pearl !!!!

AI Allied or Japan - actually, I'd like to see how AI deals with the Allied onslaught, thus I'd prefer seeing AI as Japan.

Consensus so far appears to be 1943 start
 
Scen 1 is the standard full war scenario
Scen 2 is the enhanced Japanese Scenario
 
Some folks want me v the Allied AI others me v the Jap AI
 
It will be a few days before I can start so keep voting I will narrow it down as we go !!!
