belt armor bomb hits

never seen this before. Attack on USS Lexington. 4 of 9 bombs hit the belt armor. Anyone see this before?

I believe that the hit routine doesn't know the difference between bombs, shells, etc.  So unless you skip bomb this would be a mistake by the program itself.  Again it's a game and not perfect, but fun.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Yes. Hit location is determined and considered in game. Belt armor hits not common.

Lexington,  being originally laid down as a battlecruiser, is one of only two USN carriers that actually had decent belt armour (the other is the Saratoga, her half-sister)

And don't 4get the Shinano, which had over 30 inches of belt armour.  Didn't save it from the US sub though...
