Tree v Yammy PH Attack Questions

Post by DE679 »

I know this is a touchy subject. I do not want to start any trouble, BUT I have some questions. Are the BB's that are reported "sunk" really sunk, or are they FOW sunk and still afloat? With the new AE shipyard and damage repair routine can these actually sunk BB's be refloated and repaired in the "sallow" waters of PH? Or are they total lost? Why were there Torp hits on the USS Maryland and the USS Tennessee since they were masked by other BB's?

Thanks.

In AE, with FOW on, ships may be falsely reported "sunk."

Actually sunk ships remain sunk. They can not be refloated

AE is no different from WitP (or even PacWar) in that respect. The design team was leery of trying to code single, specific situations. The team leads felt (and I agree) that the drawbacks outweighed the advantages.

Oddball: Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
