replacement troops

Hi Folks;

Does reinforcing a unit from the training pool affect the units morale/experience rating?

Hmm - I imagine it has something to do with the amount of troops added to your units and at what level they train, but is there anything in the manual or addendum that is definative about how it's worked out?

I think its directly proportional to the quality of your draft, which can be controlled through your age and training time sliders in the economic panel, the number of replacements being added, and the quality of your troops.

Sometimes your replacements are of a better quality than the unit being reinforced. In that case the quality goes up.

The math involved isnt discussed in the manual, but from seeing it happen Im fairly certain its directly proportional.

I'm sure that the replacements affect moral. I started checking different formations throughout the game and kept track of the changes- no doubt about it, the draft adjustments affect the new moral of units that receive replacements.

I think the max morale for the draft pool is 4.5? So replacements will always lower morale of the unit, if it was a high morale unit?
