Full screen?

Hi, saw this for free and thought I'd download to see if it would even boot up on my new computer. Happily it seems to work fine. But I don't see any way to force full screen. Is there? Thanks.

There used to be an option to do this, but I'm not sure any official statement has been made on whether this was removed intentionally or whether even it's still there and hidden somewhere.

Removed intentionally, but based on the amount of posts I have seen, looks like it needs to get added back.

Right now it will force 1024x768 full screen only if you are running in 1024x768 or lower rez.


There might be a way to force it using the user.xml file, but I can't remember. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the latest PureSim 1.75 code with me on the Laptop! So it won't be until after 6/22 that I can address this.

I never should have removed the display options. I was in "clean up the code" mode and went a bit too far.

It happens. I'm a personal believer, though, that you can never have too many options for the end user. Don't force them into doing something a certain way, and if an option isn't broke, don't 'fix' it.

When I started the new version it was the very first thing I noticed. I love playing full screen but hate adjusting the properties of my monitor everytime I boot up Puresim.
