Save during detailed battle ??

I haven't played yet. You can save a game during a detailed battle right ??

Yep. down on teh lower right I think little tab you can right-click and save is one of the options that pops up.
 
I like to use the following format: 'Day Month Location D1 [for Day 1] 1015am [for 10:15a.m.]. You can save at any time except when it is churning out the AI movements.
