It was working...but now its not

CEAWG was working just fine. I would double click the icon on the desk-top and then click the "Play" and then it would ask me "Standard" or "Fast Play" map and it would then launch the game. I recently purchased the game so it is up to date. I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall but no luck. If I click "Play" nothing happens.

Any suggestions anyone?

I think I fixed it. There is a settings file in both the game directory and under the Documents/CEAW. The settings file in the CEAW was empty with nothing in it. I copied the info from the game directory settings file into the Documents one and that seemed to fix the start up issue.
I hope this helps the few others with a similar issue.
