According to COMBAT AIRCRAFT OF WWII by Bill Gunston, all B 25's after series H(inclusive) had a torpedo release mechanism in the cockpit, separate from any bomb release.
If I were to guess, I might think USAAF did not deploy them due to the excellent record of Pappy Gunn's skip-bombs..

I would rather see B-25s with parafrags than torpedoes. But this will surely be airfield overkill...

Because it would be in a mod [;)] A Modification to the game which would allow people, if they choose to do so, to allow their B-25s to carry torpedoes which they could, in theory, do. It's no different to people adding in late war Jap prototypes which never saw combat...

At the end of the day, no-one is forced to play a modded game so if you don't want torp carrying B-25s then don't use the mods.

The Japanese never invaded Espirito Santo, New Caledonia, or Australia. By your logic the Japanese player should not be allowed to do so.
