Yamato
Found this on Youtube and wanted to share with everyone interested. Although not the last battleship as said in the vid, the pictures are nice. There are also a few nice underwater shots of the wreck at the end.
Battleship Yamato
And a short documentary:

Edit: Found another tribute with some underwater footage and scenes from the movie:

Very graphic portayal. The biggest but as with Musashi ultimately the most vulnerable.

RE: Yamato
IJN Yamato didn't strike fear into anyone's hearts because the Japanese very effectively kept her existence secret prior to the war and after the war started, the rank and file of USN, RAN and RN sailors didn't know she existed. The USN's opinion of IJN Yamato was that it was very large and vulnerable to torpedoes.

Funny.....my GF likes to include "waist" and "beer" in the same sentence.
And before Terminus makes the expected comment....its in reference to what she says will happen to "it" if i keep visiting the local pub several times a week.
Sad thing is.....she's right. But.....but honey.....its BEER!!!!!!!!
Can't science invent the calorieless beer that preserves all the great taste??????????

It's a good way to get rid of snails in the garden. They are attracted by the beer, drop into the bowl, and dissolve. Although you should probably better use Dixie cups, sunk into the ground up to the rim. It's a very effective method.
DON´T PANIC - IT´S ALL JUST ONES AND ZEROES!
RE: Yamato
I ve seen that work! I left bowl of beer in the garden throughout night. At the morning it was bowl of snails... [:D]

It would have worked the same way getting my uncle Roy out of your garden, if the bowl was big enough.ORIGINAL: mikemike

You know, if I was a snail, that's how I would want to go.
