On Field Photo Problems

I'm sure this was mentioned somewhere in passing by someone, but I wanted to make a thread so that we might be able to determine the problem. I have seen a few cases where the wrong player photo comes up on the screen. In all the cases I've seen it always has something to do with the third baseman. Here are 2 examples:

1) Runner on 1st. Batter grounds into a 6-4-3 double play. The first image that came up after the ball was hit was the 3rd baseman, who had nothing to do with this play. It was then followed by the Shortstop photo. I don't know that I've ever seen it do multiple photos in sequence like that before.

2) Batter lines out to 3rd. The photo displayed is that of the Centerfielder.

It looks like the 3rd baseman is sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong and ignoring the ball when it's his turn! Of course, this is a small sample and doesn't happen every time.

6-3 ground out. Showed Leftfielder's image.

think it is more random then that, I get the centerfielder's photo most times, but also the 2nd basemen

most times for me, it looks like it is going back to the last player who fielded ????

so say, fly out to centerfield, then ground ball to 3rd base, the centerfielders photo comes back up ???

I just saw a line out to P which showed the 2B photo. Unfortunately, it was the first out of the inning so I don't know if the 2B of either team made the last Assist/Putout for their team.

I think you might be on to something, Sarge. It looks like when an incorrect photo comes up it is the player responsible for the last Assist/Putout.

I just had one that I thought was a bit amusing. I lined out to the pitcher and was surprised to see Honus Wagner's face pop up. I guess it's possible that he ran in all the way from right field because he is pretty fast.

Another humorous one that I haven't seen happen before: Jiggs Donahue singles to Catcher! And up pops a photo of...Jiggs Donahue. The only problem is that he's catching for the other team. He refused to attempt to throw himself out.
