Few more questions:

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Thanks for getting to the East front! Always was my favorite. . .

1) Are all display resolutions supported? Looks like we can resize this one.
2) Are there partisans to contend with?
3) I read it has "detailed production." Are we talking along the lines of Witp, with control over engine and aircraft production, plus land units, tanks, etc?
4) General release target? This fall, winter etc?

Yes, this can play full screen or in a fully resizable window (like War Between the States). I've been testing it on my 1440x900 laptop and my 1680x1050 desktop with no issues.

I'm sure that Gary saw no need to put partisans into the game as they really played no significant role on the Eastern Front.

Sorry, I had to...[:'(]

Hi all

I am one of the alpha testers, Joel has allowed us to help answer questions to the best of our ability.

To start with, the game is beyond what I had hoped for and will be one that I will play for years to come as I am sure most of you will too.

I can't answer #1 or #4 since I don't really know [:)]

I can answer to the #2 question above in that there are partisans in the game and they can prove to be a thorn in the German player's side by cutting supply lines.

As for #3, production is there, factories are there but a lot of that is still in its early stages and there are a couple other testers that have much better knowledge of that than me.

Don't you have some other work you should be doing (like planetop artwork e.g.)? If I have this title in my hands before AE i'm going to have a stroke.

Actually, I don't... And believe me, you DON'T want me to draw art for AE...

Anyhoo, this is not the AE forum, but the WitE forum, and I likes what I'm seeings...

I agree. This does look pretty awesome.

I tried doing Wacht Am Rein with TOAW III and always felt it fell apart because the game wasn't really designed to handle that kind of scope and length. This will hopefully make up for that nicely (not to mention the pulses for attack/movement always had me baffled).
