In the post "naval questions" I asked what was the affect of the "superfrigate" was, the manual only says "raises frigate stats."

Raises them to what? The equal of a 4th rate?

Also (and slightly off topic), is there any other way to gain morale for a ship outside of combat?

Also, when ships are build do they have a "base" morale depending on the country? If so, where do we find it (perhaps the morale of the ships at start?)? Also, is the dock/barracks morale bonus applied to this base morale?

For example, if Russia has a "base morale" of 3 and builds a ship at a port with 10 docks (thus adding +2 to morale), does the newly built ship have a morale of 5.0?

No, it doesn't, at least in PBEM, have Nugged the 'Naval Stuff' post off page 2 for you to see.

I believe the formula posted in the manual is FUBAR.

The actual increase I have noticed from bumping up a Dock or barrack level in my couple GB PBEM Games is more like that formula stated multiplied by some fraction.

Will consult my PBEM game to see what the morale is of the frigates I built in Portsmouth.
