Question

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Sorry, no......ToaW is an 'operational' level game system.....'the whole world' would be defined as 'Strategic' level..........tho many of us wish we had the space of map and very large editing cap to model same, it's gonna be a 'long long road' befor modeling 'the whole world' or anything like it will be possible.

Sad but True.......

I stand corrected, Sil!

I've just converted this to ToaW III, and am taking a look........He certainly tried hard enough it would seem, LOL!

Only playing this out for a while would tell how well his scenario actually works, but I'll give him points for trying to cram as much in as he has using COW.

I've got to say that I'm really not in favor of mixed ftr/bmbr air units, but then he's trying to do something that prolly ends up scewed even in T-3. Even in a purely opporational scenario, I really hate to see 'mixed range' units in the design.

Lot's of work in this one, eh? His 'events list' is remarkably clean for a monster!
